In 2017, KING ICT further strengthened its cooperation with educational institutions by participating in career fairs, guest lectures, and company presentations.
At the Career Week organized by the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI), our colleagues Danka Patafta and Dragutin Dumić described one day at KING ICT when it comes to working on large projects such as System for Booking and Selling Tickets designed for Croatian Railways. Students learned, through an entertaining lecture, the benefits of working at KING, what opportunities the company offers to their employees, and how 'a typically untypical team building' in the software solutions sector looks like. Also, the students learned firsthand what are the stages of the project and what challenges they bring.
Organized by the Department of Management in Engineering and Women in Engineering Croatia, part of the IEEE section, KING's Head of Software Solutions Implementation, Ana Mihaljević, held a lecture 'Smart Goal, a Successful Project' at FER.
In front of a full hall, Ana explained the students the planning processes and the elaboration of the goals in project implementation and described ‘one day at the office’ from her perspective.
During Q&A, the students showed great interest in the subject, which eventually turned into a lively discussion, giving the audience the opportunity to find out a lot of information about KING ICT, especially the Software Solutions Implementation Sector and its projects.
